4. Make sure the print carriage is not obstructed. You might need to slide the carriage to the right side. Remove any jammed paper or other objects blocking the carriage. 5. Make sure the printhead latch is properly closed. NOTE: After you have set up the printer, do not open the printhead latch unless instructed to do so. 6. Close the front door of the printer. 7.
