Install Appliance in Rack 1. Attach the node rails to the node. Figure 13 Attaching a node rail to the node . WARNING! The node is very heavy, 44.5 kg (98 lb) full. To reduce the risk of personal injury or damage to the equipment: • Remove the hot-plug power supplies to reduce the weight of the node before lifting it. Do not remove any other hardware. • Observe local occupational health and safety requirements and guidelines for material handling. • At least two people are required to lift and rack mount the node. 2. Remove the node power supplies. See Power Supply. 3. Pull the inner slide rail forward from each rack rail assembly until it locks into place. HP StorageWorks 43
