To remove the PCI slot cover, slide the PCI slot cover away from the server. Step 5. Slide the PCI card connectors into the slot, snapping firmly in place. For full length (cards that extend to the left side card guides) PCI cards, use the UPPER card guide. Step 6. At the rear of the chassis, connect the I/O cable to the card just installed. Step 7. Step 4.
Remove the PCI slot cover from the slot that will receive the PCI card. To remove the PCI slot cover,
slide the PCI slot cover away from the server.
Step 5.
Slide the PCI card connectors into the slot, snapping firmly in place. For full length (cards that
extend to the left side card guides) PCI cards, use the UPPER card guide.
Step 6.
At the rear of the chassis, connect the I/O cable to the card just installed.
Step 7.
Replace the right side panel and tighten the captive screws.
