Installing the Projector Projection Distance and Screen Size • This projector uses 1.3x manual zoom lens for projection. • Although the focusable projection distance is about 1.6 m ~ 12 m, the projection distance recommendable for performance is about 2 m ~ 8 m. Install the projector within this range and adjust the screen size when the aspect ratio of the screen is 16:9. • If the KEYSTONE is adjusted, the screen becomes smaller. (☞ page 30) Ⅵ Screen installation Screen 16:9 and 4:3 Screen A 4:3 aspect-ratio picture is projected based on the width of the range in which a 16:9 aspect-ratio picture is projected. The diagonal length of a 4:3 aspect-ratio screen is about 81.7 % that of a 16:9 aspect-ratio screen. Please use them during installation. The projected image size may vary depending on the manufacturing tolerance of the projection lens. Please use the 'Wide side' for sizes bigger than Type 200. • The software [Lens Calculator] is provided for calculating the relationship between projection screen size and projection distance.
