6.3 Original Settings 6 6.3 Original Settings Specify the type of original that is loaded, for example, if it contains mixed page sizes or Z-folded originals. Under Original Settings, you can select two or more items at the same time. 6.3.1 Special Original The available setting items are as follows. Item [Mixed Original] [Z-Folded Original] [Long Original] Contents Select this setting when loading originals with different sizes together into the ADF. The scanning speed will be lowered because the size of each page is detected before it is scanned. Select this setting to detect the size of a Z-folded original by the length fed through the ADF. Select this setting for originals that are longer than the standard size. 6.3.2 Direction Settings - Original Direction Select the orientation of the original.
