Media specifications 4 Flex the sheets back and forth to loosen them, and then fan them. Do not fold or crease the media. Straighten the edges on a level surface. 5 Load the paper stack with the recommended print side faceup. Load the stack toward the rear of the tray as shown. If you load letterhead paper, place the header at the rear of the tray. 6 Insert the tray. Loading envelopes in the standard tray The recommended stack height is 10 envelopes; however, in normal environments as many as 15 envelopes may be loaded. In high temperature or humidity environments, only seven envelopes should be loaded. 1 Pull the standard tray completely out. 2 Squeeze the length guide tabs together as shown in step 2 on page 42.
