Troubleshooting Problem Cause Remedy Battery is not installed Check if the battery is installed. If not, install the battery. Camera will not turn on Battery is installed incorrectly Check orientation of the battery. Reinsert the battery according to the +- symbols on the battery compartment. (p.21) Battery power is low Charge the battery. Camera is connected LCD monitor is off when camera is to a PC connected to a computer. No image on LCD monitor Camera is connected to the AV equipment LCD monitor is off when camera is connected to the AV equipment. Image is displayed but is hard to see Image on LCD monitor may be hard to see when taking pictures outside in sunlight. Flash is charging Pictures cannot be taken while the flash is charging. Wait until charging is finished. Shutter will not release No available space on Insert SD Memory Card with available SD Memory Card or in space or delete unwanted images.
