The camera keeps the moving pet in focus until the shutter release button is pressed. You can select p.71 settings according to the color of your pet's coat. D Food Use this mode for taking pictures of food. The increased saturation gives pictures a bright, vivid finish. Use this mode to take pictures with a frame. Face Recognition Face Recognition can be activated in b (Auto Picture mode), z (Natural Skin Tone mode) and e (Portrait mode). This function recognizes faces, focuses, and performs exposure compensation when capturing images. • In b mode, the Face Recognition can be activated when the shutter release button is pressed halfway and Portrait is selected. • If the camera cannot recognize the location of the subject's face, the camera focuses using the normal Focusing Area (Multiple). • The Face Recognition function may not work if the subject is wearing sunglasses, has part of the face covered, or is not looking toward the camera. 54
