Menu items FORMAT BEEP Settings (*: Initial setting) See page Sets the formatting of the drive after "ERASE ALL DATA?" has - been displayed. YES: The drive will be formatted. NO*: The drive will not be formatted.  Notes  Use the IC recorder formatting function to format the memory. If you format the IC recorder using your computer, the sound may be interrupted unexpectedly and the recording time may be shortened.  When you format the memory, all the data which you have stored in the IC recorder will be deleted. Once the data is deleted, you cannot retrieve it. Sets whether a beep will be heard or not. - ON*: A beep will sound to indicate that an operation has been accepted. OFF: No beep sound will be heard.  Note The alarm sounds even if you set "BEEP" to "OFF" in the menu. 90GB

recorder
formatting

format
the
memory.
If
you
format
the
IC
recorder
using
your
computer,
the
sound
may
