The factory default Network Name of the Access Point is printed on the ID label at the rear of the Access Point, but the Access Point can be configured to use a different Network Name. When you connect to an existing Access Point, consult your network administrator for information about the Network Name. 5 If the WEP function is enabled for the Access Point, enter the WEP key in the Network key field. z Hint WEP is an encryption function that prevents unauthorized access to wireless networks, and the WEP key is a password required to decode encrypted transmissions. When Access Point is shipped, the WEP function is disabled. For security reasons, it is strongly recommend that you refer to enable the WEP function of the Access Point.
