Select this option to listen playback sound with the headphones (not supplied) or an external speaker. LINE OUT: You can use the jack as a line output jack. Select this option to connect an external recorder such as a tape recorder for recording playback sound of the PCM recorder. P Notes • If "LINE OUT" is selected, do not connect headphones; the playback sound from the headphones will be very loud. • If "LINE OUT" is selected, you cannot adjust output volume with the VOLUME +/- buttons and cannot use the Effect function. Plug In Power Set the Plug In Power function on and off. When a microphone - compatible with the Plug In Power function is connected to the m (microphone) jack of the PCM recorder, the PCM recorder can supply power to the microphone. ON*: The PCM recorder supplies power to the connected Plug In Power type microphone. OFF: The PCM recorder does not supply power to a connected microphone. Cross-Memory Set the Cross-Memory Recording function on and off. When the 39 Recording memory currently selected in the "Memory" setting in the menu becomes full during recording, the PCM recorder automatically switches its destination to the other memory media and continues recording (Cross-Memory Recording). The new recording is saved as another track. ON: The Cross-Memory Recording function is activated. OFF*: The Cross-Memory Recording function is disabled. Plug In Power
Set the Plug In Power function on and off. When a microphone
compatible with the Plug In Power function is connected to the
m
(microphone) jack of the PCM recorder, the PCM recorder
can supply power to the microphone.

Cross-Memory
Recording
Set the Cross-Memory Recording function on and off. When the
memory currently selected in the “Memory” setting in the menu
becomes full during recording, the PCM recorder automatically
switches its destination to the other memory media and continues
recording (Cross-Memory Recording). The new recording is
saved as another track.
ON: The Cross-Memory Recording function is activated.
