Factory default = NO BP If you're planning on using your UPS with the additional supported battery pack option listed above as battery pack option 3, EXTERNAL BATTERY CONFIGURATION TOOL software is required. After the EXTERNAL BATTERY CONFIGURATION TOOL software is used, the UPS will display the resulting configuration as "BP TOOL" on the LCD screen. BP TOOL is present as an LCD viewable option, but is itself not selectable (if BP TOOL selection is attempted, the screen will report "READ ONLY. SELECT BY BP TOOL" to confirm the selection has not been accepted). EXTERNAL BATTERY CONFIGURATION TOOL software is a Windows only application and requires a serial cable connection to the UPS in order to run. Visit http://www.tripplite.com/bpconfig to download the software. Battery Pack Models That Require Use of EXTERNAL BATTERY CONFIGURATION TOOL Software: UPS MODEL SU3000RTXLCD2U BATTERY PACK MODEL BP72V28RT3U (for more than 1) 13 The FACTORY DEFAULT selection screen will appear. FACTORY DEFAULT gives users a quick and easy way to return the UPS to its original factory configuration. When selecting YES to FACTORY DEFAULT in the LCD Set-Up screens, the UPS will immediately revert to the original shipping configuration and set of presets. Running a FACTORY DEFAULT will restore these factory settings: OUTPUT VOLTAGE = 120 OUTPUT FREQUENCY = 60Hz BYPASS RANGE = WIDE OVERLOAD ALARM = 105% SHUTDOWN AFTER = DISABLE BATTERY SAVE = DISABLE STANDBY MODE = NO OUTPUT FREQ CONVERTER = DISABLE ECONOMY MODE = DISABLE COLD START = ENABLE BATTERY TEST = MONTHLY EXTERNAL BATT = NO BP FACTORY DEFAULT = YES AUDIBLE ALARM = ENABLE ALARM HISTORY = ALL MESSAGES CLEARED INFORMATION = NO CHANGE To Advance to the Next Screen: Press SCROLL (v) To Change This Setting: Press "SELECT" (^) Note: The UPS must be in Standby Mode to change this setting.
