Table 14 Broadband Add/Edit: Bridge (ADSL) Label DESCRIPTION General Name Enter a service name of the connection. Type Select ADSL as the interface for which you want to configure here. Mode Bridge Group The ZyXEL Device uses the ADSL technology for data transmission over the DSL port. Select Bridge when your ISP provides you more than one IP address and you want the connected computers to get individual IP address from ISP's DHCP server directly. If you select Bridge, you cannot use routing functions, such as QoS, Firewall, DHCP server and NAT on traffic from the selected LAN port(s). Select the LAN/WLAN port(s) from which traffic will be forwarded to the WAN interface directly. Select a port from the Available LAN/WLAN Port(s) list and click Add >> to add it to the Bridged LAN/WLAN Port(s) list. If you want to remove a port from the Bridged LAN/WLAN Port(s) list, select it and click Remove

ATM PVC
Configuration
VPI (Virtual Path Identifier) and VCI (Virtual Channel Identifier) define a virtual circuit.
This section is available only when you select
ADSL
in the
Type
field to configure an
ATM layer-2 interface.
VPI
The valid range for the VPI is 0 to 255. Enter the VPI assigned to you.
VCI
The valid range for the VCI is 32 to 65535 (0 to 31 is reserved for local management
of ATM traffic). Enter the VCI assigned to you.
