When an object is detected, either three beeps sound from the left or right side, depending on the direction of the detected vehicle. With URPA, as the vehicle backs up at speeds of less than 8 km/h (5 mph), the system detects objects up to 2.5 m (8 ft) behind the vehicle that are within a zone 25 cm (10 in) high off the ground and below bumper level. 9-47 Warning (Continued) speeds greater than 8 km/h (5 mph).
