DuraLAN Fast Ethernet NICs User's Guide Fast Ethernet Fast Ethernet is a networking standard defined by the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) in IEEE Specification 802.3u. Fast Ethernet runs at 100 Megabits/sec, or at 200 Megabits/ sec in Full Duplex Mode. Fast Ethernet uses the same Carrier Sense Multiple Access with Collision Detection (CSMA/CD) architecture used on 10BaseT and 10Base2-10 Megabits/sec network specifications, which allows for easy integration with existing networks. Fast Ethernet
Fast Ethernet is a networking standard defined by the Institute of
Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) in IEEE Specification
802.3u. Fast Ethernet runs at 100 Megabits/sec, or at 200 Megabits/
sec in Full Duplex Mode.
Fast Ethernet uses the same Carrier Sense Multiple Access with
