Radio/HD Radio™ /RBDS ICS-X7HD can receive HD Radio signals based on digital radio broadcast standards in addition to analog radio broadcasts using RBDS. The HD Radio broadcasts may be received in areas where current AM/ FM broadcasters are providing digital services. This unit will automatically detect and play the digital signal for high quality sound reproduction. During weaker signal conditions, the tuner may be forced to switch from HD Radio to analog RBDS mode for FM or analog AM. • RBDS mode is only available during FM broadcast reception. Not all broadcasters in you area broadcast a high quality, digital, HD Radio signal. These stations are received as normal analog AM or FM.
