Using a 3G SIM card (optional) Your UMPC allows you to install a 3G SIM card into your device, which enables you to wirelessly connect to the Internet so you can check your e-mail messages, surf the Internet, or chat online; and make and receive calls using a Bluetooth headset. IMPORTANT: Depending on the model, your UMPC may or may not include a 3G SIM card slot. Check your UMPC model if it contains the 3G SIM card slot. Installing a 3G SIM card To install a 3G SIM card: 1. Press down the battery latch, then remove the battery pack. 2. Insert the 3G SIM card with its gold contacts facing down and the notched corner oriented to the upper right corner of the slot as shown. 5858

Using a 3G SIM card (optional)
Your UMPC allows you to install a 3G SIM card into your device, which enables you
to wirelessly connect to the Internet so you can check your e-mail messages, surf the
Internet, or chat online; and make and receive calls using a Bluetooth headset.
IMPORTANT
: Depending on the model, your UMPC may or may not include a 3G SIM
card slot. Check your UMPC model if it contains the 3G SIM card slot.
Installing a 3G SIM card
To install a 3G SIM card:
1. Press down the battery latch, then
remove the battery pack.
2. Insert the 3G SIM card with its gold
contacts facing down and the notched
corner oriented to the upper right
corner of the slot as shown.
