Routine Maintenance NOTE For ADS-2800W and ADS-3600W only • When Scheduled Maintenance alert appears on the machine's LCD, you must clean the machine promptly. If you do not, document jams and paper feed problems may occur. Clean the glass strips with a lint-free cloth. When finished, run your fingertip over the glass to see if you feel anything on it. If you feel dirt or debris, clean the glass again, concentrating on that area. You may have to repeat the cleaning process three or four times. Remove the roller and clean it. To test, scan a document after each cleaning attempt. This Scheduled Maintenance alert occurs every 5,000 pages.
