You will need this information before you continue with the configuration. Check and record the current wireless network settings. Network name:(SSID, ESSID) 3 Communication Mode Infrastructure Authentication method Open system Shared key WPA/WPA2-PSK Ad-hoc Open system 1 TKIP is supported for WPA-PSK only. For example: Encryption mode WEP NONE WEP AES TKIP 1 WEP NONE Network name:(SSID, ESSID) HELLO Network key - - Communication Mode Infrastructure Authentication method Encryption mode WPA2-PSK AES Network key 12345678 Note Your Brother machine supports the use of the first WEP KEY only. If you are using a router that is using more than one WEP KEY enter the KEY used for the first WEP KEY. b Press Menu. c Press a or b to choose Network. Press OK. d For DCP-373CW, DCP-375CW, DCP-377CW, DCP-593CW, DCP-595CW, DCP-597CW and MFC-495CW Press a or b to choose WLAN. Press OK. e Press a or b to choose Setup Wizard. Press OK. 31
