● Display Contrast Mode 5.1 About the User Modes ▼ ▼ Use the Set [ ] and [ ] keys to move the pointer (■) to the left for lighter contrast or to the right for darker contrast. ● Setting SCSI Transfer Speed Set the maximum value for synchronous transfer speed for the SCSI interface. [5]: 5 Mbyte/sec [10]: 10 Mbyte/sec (First SCSI) [20]: 20 Mbyte/sec (Ultra SCSI) (default) If the scanner does not operate correctly when the output speed is set to [20 Mbyte/sec], reduce the transfer speed to [10 Mbyte/sec] or [5 Mbyte/sec]. If you change the setting for the SCSI transfer speed, turn OFF the scanner, and then Important turn it ON. 5 71

10 Mbyte/sec (First SCSI)
[20]:
20 Mbyte/sec (Ultra SCSI) (default)
If the scanner does not operate correctly when the output speed is set to [20
Mbyte/sec], reduce the transfer speed to [10 Mbyte/sec] or [5 Mbyte/sec].
If you change the setting for the SCSI transfer speed, turn OFF the scanner, and then
turn it ON.
