3 Menu Function Settings Touch Shutter Just by tapping the LCD monitor screen, you can focus and take the picture automatically. For details, see page 245. Grid display With [3x3 l] or [6x4 m], you can display grid lines to help you level the camera vertically or horizontally. Also, with [3x3+diag n], the grid is displayed together with diagonal lines to help you align the intersections over the subject for better balance in the composition. Aspect ratioM The image's aspect ratio can be set to [3:2], [4:3], [16:9], or [1:1]. The area surrounding the Live View image is masked in black when the following aspect ratios are set: [4:3] [16:9] [1:1]. JPEG images will be saved with the set aspect ratio. RAW images will always be saved with the [3:2] aspect ratio. Since the aspect ratio information is appended to the RAW image, the image can be generated in the respective aspect ratio when you process the RAW image with the camera and the provided software.
