Windows 71 Create a File before Adding It (Sound File) You can create sound files easily using the My Camera Sound Maker. The following example shows how to create a start-up sound file. QuickTime is required to play the recorded sound. • If QuickTime 3.0 or a later version is not already installed, install QuickTime 5.0 from the Canon Digital Camera Solution Disk. Place the disk in the CD-ROM drive and click [QuickTime 5.0 Installation] in the installer panel (p. 20). 1. Click the [Create Sound] button in the My Camera window. The My Camera Sound Maker dialog will display. 2. Click the tab of the sound file you will be creating, followed by the [Record] button. • The Start-up Sound tab is selected in this example. The My Camera Sound Maker dialog will display. • To open a sound file already saved to the computer, click the [Open] button in place of the [Record] button. Then skip to Step 6. 3. Click the [Start] button. Recording will commence.

Create a File before Adding It (Sound File)
You can create sound files easily using the My Camera Sound Maker. The following
example shows how to create a start-up sound file. QuickTime is required to play the
