Adjust the exposure when a backlit subject becomes underexposed, or overexposed due
to bright light.

Set the program selector to

If the joystick guide does not appear on screen,

) to display it.
3.
Push the joystick (
) towards [EXP] to enter the
exposure lock mode.
[EXP] on the joystick guide will be displayed in light blue and the exposure adjustment
indicator and the neutral value “±0” appear on the screen.
4.
Adjust (
) the brightness of the image as necessary.
To return to the automatic exposure, push the joystick (
) towards [EXP] once more.
The exposure adjustment indicator will disappear and [EXP] will turn white again.

Push the joystick (
) towards [BACK] to save the exposure setting.
