Select protocol id to instruct the switch to examine each frame's Protocol ID field. user mask − Specify that the rule applies to the IP protocol ID and the mask options behind the IP header. Select permit to specify that the packets that match the access profile are forwarded by the switch according to any additional rule added (see below). Select deny to specify that packets that do not match the access profile are not forwarded by the switch and will be filtered. To establish the rule for a previously created Access Profile: Select the Access Profile entry from the Access Profile Table window and then click the Modify button for that individual entry.
