Select Static to manually configure the IP address settings. BOOTP allows the switch to get an IP configuration using the BOOTP protocol. If Static is selected, enter the IP address of the switch. If DHCP or BOOTP is selected, the automatically obtained IP address will be displayed. If Static is selected, enter the IP address of the switch. If DHCP or BOOTP is selected, the automatically obtained network mask will be displayed. If Static is selected, enter the IP address of the switch. If DHCP or BOOTP is selected, the automatically obtained gateway will be displayed. If DHCP is selected, enter the number of times to retry obtaining an IP address. Click the Apply button to accept the changes made. IPv6 Interface This window is used to configure the IPv6 settings of the switch. The fields that can be configured are described below:
Parameter
Description
Get IP From
Select DHCP to automatically obtain an IP address. Select
Static to manually configure the IP address settings. BOOTP
allows the switch to get an IP configuration using the BOOTP
protocol.
IP Address
If Static is selected, enter the IP address of the switch. If DHCP
or BOOTP is selected, the automatically obtained IP address
will be displayed.
Mask
If Static is selected, enter the IP address of the switch. If DHCP
or BOOTP is selected, the automatically obtained network
mask will be displayed.
Gateway
If Static is selected, enter the IP address of the switch. If DHCP
or BOOTP is selected, the automatically obtained gateway will
be displayed.
DHCP Retry Time(5-120)
If DHCP is selected, enter the number of times to retry
obtaining an IP address.
Click the
Apply
button to accept the changes made.
IPv6 Interface
This window is used to configure the IPv6 settings of the switch.
To view the following window, click
System > System Information Settings > IPv6 Interface
, as
shown below:
