Text Box Password VM Machine Location Description Enter the password for the user account with administrative privileges on the workstation with Hyper-V server. It is used to specify the logon credentials for the virtual machine. Enter the path for the virtual machine. For example, D:\export. It is used to identify the location of the virtual machine. NOTE: Specify the virtual machine location for both local and remote Hyper-V servers. The path must be a valid local path for the Hyper-V server. Non-existent directories are automatically created. Do not attempt to create them manually. Export to shared folders, for example, \\data\share is not permitted. 5. In the Export Volumes tab, select which volumes to export. For example, C:\. 6. Performing A Rollback For A Windows Machine In AppAssure 5, a rollback is the process of restoring the volumes on a machine from recovery points. NOTE: Rollback functionality is also supported for your protected Linux machines using the commandlineaamount utility. For more information, see Performing A Rollback For A Linux Machine. To perform a rollback for a Windows machine: 1. In the AppAssure 5 Core Console, click the Machines tab. 2. In the list of protected machines, select the check box next to the machine you want to export. 3. In the Actions drop-down menu for that machine, click Rollback. The Rollback Select Recovery Point dialog box is displayed. 4. In the Rollback Select Recovery Point dialog box, do one of the following: - Select a recovery point to export and click Next. - Or, in the left navigation area of the AppAssure 5 Core Console, select the machine you want to roll back, which launches the Summary tab for that machine. On the Recovery Points tab, select a recovery point in the list. In the expanded details for that recovery point, next to Operations, click Rollback. The Rollback dialog box is displayed. 5. To perform a rollback for a Windows machine:
1.

tab.
2.
In the list of protected machines, select the check box next to the machine you want to export.

Rollback
.
The
Rollback Select Recovery Point
dialog box is displayed.

In the
