Registering For A License Portal Account If you do not currently have an AppAssure 5 License Portal account, you must register for an account to access the AppAssure 5 License Portal. When an initial user account is created in the License Portal, it is created as a default user with administrative rights. This account also has the root group associated with it, meaning it can have subgroups but no "parent group." The new account has a trial license, which means all accounts, subgroups, and agents added to this account also has trial licenses until a valid full license has been activated. Only users with the administrator role can change the license type of an account and enable the feature to add non-trial agents. To register for a license portal account: 1. On the License Portal logon screen, click the link to register for and create an account. The Register page is displayed. 2. Enter the account registration details as described in the following table. Field First Name Description Enter the first name for the user. NOTE: This is a required entry. Last Name Enter the last name for the user. NOTE: This is a required entry. Email Address Enter a unique e-mail address for the user. NOTE: The e-mail address you enter must be unique and never previously used to register on the license portal. This is a required entry. Company Enter the name of the company with which the user is associated. NOTE: This is a required entry. Phone Address Country Enter a phone number for the user account. This is used to record contact information for the user. Enter an address for the user account. Select a country. NOTE: If you select the United States as the country, you must enter the state. State City Zip Select a state for the user account if you selected the United States as the country. Enter a city for the user account. Enter a zip code for the user account. 3. To receive promotional offers and updates, select the Keep me informed of specials offers check box. 4. Click Register. A Registration Complete message is displayed that instructs you to check your e-mail for instructions on activating your account. 26

Registering For A License Portal Account
If you do not currently have an AppAssure 5 License Portal account, you must register for an account to access the
AppAssure 5 License Portal.

Enter a city for the user account.
Zip
Enter a zip code for the user account.
3.
