Product Description LQ-2070 Sewice Manual 1.4.5 Self-test Function Pressing the Load / Eject button while turning on the printer puts the printer in LQ self-test mode. Pressing the LF/FF button while turning on the printer puts the printer in Draft self-test mode. You can stop the self-test temporarily by pressing the Pause button, and you can exit the self-test mode by turning off the printer. When pages are printed from the CSF, the first sheet is used for scaling the sheet length. Then, the maximum number of printable lines is printed as the bottom line of the sheet and this number is saved in non-volatile memory as the default page length. Page lengths are saved individually when a dual-bin CSF is in use. The self-test prints out the following: 0 The maximum number of printable lines (only oncutsheets from the CSF) 0 The pattern of characters shown in the figure below. Roman ! 1.4.5 Self-test Function
Pressing the
Load / Eject
button while turning on the printer puts the printer in LQ self-test
mode. Pressing the
LF/FF
button while turning on the printer puts the printer in Draft self-test
mode. You can stop the self-test temporarily by pressing the Pause button, and you can exit the
self-test mode by turning off the printer. When pages are printed from the
CSF,
the first sheet is
used for scaling the sheet length. Then, the maximum number of printable lines is printed as the
bottom line of the sheet and this number is saved in non-volatile memory as the default page
length. Page lengths are saved individually when a dual-bin
CSF
is in use.
The self-test prints out the following:
