201 Appendix C: Control Panel Summary This Appendix summarizes the functions of the control panel's lights and buttons (below), describes the informational messages and icons you may see on the LCD display (see page 203), and lists the available menu settings (see page 206). Control Panel Buttons and Lights Paper Ink light light Paper feed up button Power button and light Enter or cut button Menu or cleaning button Pause or reset button and light LCD display Paper feed down button Left arrow or paper source button Buttons Button P Power Pause r Menu l Paper Source Description Turns the printer on and off Stops printing temporarily Restarts printing when printing was paused In menu mode, returns the printer to READY state When held for 3 seconds, deletes the print job Accesses the printer menus Selects menus and settings within menu mode During printing, enters the PRINTER STATUS menu When held for 3 seconds, cleans the print head Selects the paper source ( sheet, On, or roll/Auto Cut Off) roll/Auto Cut Goes back to previous menu within menu mode When held for 3 seconds, enters cutter replacement mode 201
