The Computer Won't Start The computer won't start when you press the on/off button. If the Power light is on, check the Suspend light. Press any key if it is on; press the Suspend/Resume button if it is flashing. Check the Charge light. If it is flashing orange, the battery may be damaged or installed incorrectly. Check the Power light. If it is flashing green, it means the battery is too low to power the computer. Make sure the brightness and contrast controls are not turned down. If an external monitor is connected, make sure it's turned on. If you replaced your hard disk drive, make sure you installed it correctly. If you are using the battery, remove it and reinstall it.
