Your SIMM sockets may not look exactly like the ones in the illustrations. If you're not sure how to install SlMMs, contact your Authorized EPSON Servicer or the EPSON Connection and ask for assistance. Inserting SlMMs Make sure the computer is turned off and the cover is off. Then follow these steps to install SIMMs: 1. Refer to the illustration under "Locating the System Board Components" to locate the SIMM sockets on the left side of the main system board, next to the processor. 2. Remove any option cards that may be blocking your access to the SIMM sockets; see "Removing an Option Card" for instructions. 3. Position the SIMM at an angle over the empty SIMM socket with the notch in the comer of the SIMM facing the back of the computer. notch Installing and Removing Options 4-13

your Authorized EPSON Servicer or the EPSON Connection
and ask for assistance.
Inserting SlMMs
Make sure the computer is turned off and the cover is off. Then
follow these steps to install SIMMs:
1.
Refer to the illustration under "Locating the System Board
Components” to locate the SIMM sockets on the left side of
the main system board, next to the processor.
2.
Remove any option cards that may be blocking your access
to the SIMM sockets; see “Removing an Option Card” for
instructions.
3.
Position the SIMM at an angle over the empty SIMM socket
with the notch in the comer of the SIMM facing the back of
the computer.
