When you try to load single-sheet paper manually, the printer loads the paper from the cut-sheet feeder. Cause What to do The paper release lever is set in co r r ect ly . Move the lever forw ard to load continu ou s p ap er, or backw ard to load single sheets. Opera tion The Pa use light is off but the printer does not print. Cause What to do The interface cable is not p lu gged in secu rely. Check that both ends of the cable betw een the p rinter and the com puter are p lu gged in secu rely.
