Pressure Switch Connection 26 To do a pressure switch test: 1. Change the setup to Setup 4 (default switch test) listed under "Setups" in the MORE configuration menu choices. The upper display is set to [P1] ST, all other displays are off. Note The pressure switch test can be done with these functions: [P1] ST, or EXT ST. Use low-volume tubing when possible. 2. Connect the Product to the switch with the pressure switch terminals to the pressure switch contacts (deenergized dry contacts). The polarity of the terminals does not matter. Connect the pump from the Product to the input of the pressure switch. 3. Make sure the vent on the pump is open. 4. Zero the Product if necessary. 5. Close the vent after the Product is zeroed. If a normally closed switch, the top of the display shows "CLOSE". 6. Apply pressure with the pump slowly until the switch opens. Pressure Switch Test
Connect a pressure switch to the Product as shown in
Figure 8.

To do a pressure switch test:
1.

2.
Connect the Product to the switch with the pressure
switch terminals to the pressure switch contacts (de-
energized dry contacts). The polarity of the terminals
does not matter. Connect the pump from the Product
to the input of the pressure switch.
3.
Make sure the vent on the pump is open.
4.
Zero the Product if necessary.
5.
Close the vent after the Product is zeroed. If a
normally closed switch, the top of the display shows
“CLOSE”.
6.
Apply pressure with the pump slowly until the switch
opens.
