719PRO Users Manual Pressure-to-Current Transmitter Calibration To calibrate a pressure-to-current transmitter (P/I): 1. Connect the Product and the pump to the transmitter. See Figure 9. 2. Apply pressure with the pump. 3. Measure the current output of the transmitter. 4. Ensure the reading is correct. If not, adjust the transmitter as necessary. Note Use low-volume tubing when possible. Percent Error Function The Product features a unique function which can calculate pressure vs. milliamp error as a percentage of the 4 mA to 20 mA loop span. The percent error mode uses all three screens and has a unique menu structure. It simultaneously shows pressure, mA, and percent error.
