Using Phone Features 37 • To add additional persons to your conference call, select Menu > Hold, enter the phone number, and then select Resume to return to the call. To turn on and off the Speakerphone The built-in Speakerphone allows you to talk hands-free or lets other people listen to the conversation. • During a call, select Menu > Speakerphone On. The icon appears at the top of the screen. • To turn off the Speakerphone during the call, select Menu > Speakerphone Off. Alternatively, the speakerphone can be toggled on and off by pressing and holding the SEND key during the call. Note It is not recommended to hold your phone against your ear when the Speakerphone is turned on as this may damage your hearing. To mute a call You can turn off the microphone during a call, so that you can hear the caller but the caller cannot hear you. • Press the left SOFT KEY to select Mute. When the microphone is turned off, the icon appears on the screen. Press the left SOFT KEY to select Unmute to turn on the microphone again. 2.5 Additional Dialing Information Make an emergency call • Dial the emergency number (911), and press SEND ( ). Tip Additional emergency numbers may be included in your SIM card. Contact your service provider for details. Make an international call 1. Press and hold on the phone keyboard until the sign appears. The replaces the international prefix of the country that you are calling. 2. Enter the full phone number, and press SEND ( ). The full phone number includes country code, area code (without the leading zero, if any), and phone number.

enter the phone number, and then select
Resume
to return to the call.
To turn on and off the Speakerphone
