BHUTTE KA SHORBA BLENDED CORN SOUP SPICED WITH CURRY POWDER & CURRY LEAVES HB Pro Juicer Mixer Grinder blends corn from the cob into a smooth blend to give a silken corn soup SERVES PREP TIME COOKING TIME 2 10 MINS 15 MINS INGREDIENTS Sweet corn kernels (boiled) Butter Cumin Bayleaf Onions chopped Ginger chopped Garlic chopped Green chilly Curry leaves Turmeric Curry powder Flour (all purpose) Salt Pepper powder Water Spring onions chopped Popped corn 2 cups 2 tbsp 1 tsp 1 1/4 cup 2 tsp 2 tsp 1 2 sprigs 1/2 tsp 2 tsp 1 tbsp To taste A pinch 4 cups For garnishing For garnish & as accompaniment METHOD • In a pan, melt butter, add bay leaf and cumin. Stir and then add green chilly, chopped onions, ginger and garlic. Give a quick stir for a minute. Now add curry leaves, turmeric and curry powder. Quick stir and add corn. Cook the corn for 3 minutes. Sprinkle salt, pepper powder and flour. Cook for a minute and then add water. Bring it to a boil and cook for 3-4 minutes. • Remove from heat now and let it cool down a bit. • Now remove the bay leaf and pour it into 1.5L jar and using the Manual option press start. Now using the speed dial increase the speed of the machine gradually till it reaches the maximum. Check once the contents are finely pureed, stop the machine and remove the soup and strain it. Once strained pour in a pan and bring to a boil, check for seasoning. Pour in a bowl and garnish with chopped spring onions and pop corns. 6
