Chopping/Mixing Blade Recipes (cont.) S'mores Pie Ingredients: 8 large graham crackers 1/4 cup (59 ml) butter, melted 1/4 cup (59 ml) sugar, divided 1 cup (237 ml) heavy cream 1 p ackage (12 oz. [340 g]) mini chocolate chips, divided 1 p ackage (8 oz. [227 g]) marshmallows cut in half lengthwise Directions: 1. Heat oven to 350°F (177°C). 2. Assemble food processor with chopping/mixing blade. With processor running, drop graham cracker pieces through the food chute and process until fine crumbs are formed. 3. Add melted butter and 2 tablespoons (30 ml) sugar through the food chute until mixed. Press mixture evenly into a 9-inch (22.9 cm) pie plate. 4. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Place on cooling rack and cool completely. 5. In medium saucepan over low heat, add heavy cream, 1 1/2 cups (355 ml) mini chocolate chips and remaining 2 tablespoons (30 ml) sugar. Stir until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth. Pour mixture into a large mixing bowl and refrigerate about 30 minutes or until slightly thickened. 6. Beat chocolate mixture on medium speed until mixture is thickened. Spoon into prepared crust. 7. Cover and refrigerate until completely cooled. 8. Heat broiler on LOW. 9. Arrange marshmallows over top of pie. Broil until marshmallows are puffed and golden brown. 10. Melt remaining 1/2 cup (118 ml) mini chocolate chips in microwave or double boiler. Drizzle over pie before serving. Serves: 16 28

S’mores Pie
Ingredients:

2. Assemble food processor with chopping/mixing blade. With
processor running, drop graham cracker pieces through the food
chute and process until fine crumbs are formed.
3. Add melted butter and 2 tablespoons (30 ml) sugar through the
food chute until mixed. Press mixture evenly into a 9-inch (22.9
cm) pie plate.
4. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Place on cooling
rack and cool completely.
5. In medium saucepan over low heat, add heavy cream, 1 1/2 cups
(355 ml) mini chocolate chips and remaining 2 tablespoons (30
ml) sugar. Stir until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth.
Pour mixture into a large mixing bowl and refrigerate about 30
minutes or until slightly thickened.
6. Beat chocolate mixture on medium speed until mixture is
thickened. Spoon into prepared crust.
7. Cover and refrigerate until completely cooled.
