hp instant share hp instant share setup and use send a photo or image using your hp psc (Macintosh) If your HP PSC is connected to a Macintosh, you can send a photo or image to anyone with an e-mail account. You initiate your e-mail message from an e-mail application installed on your computer by pressing E-mail in the HP Gallery. You open the HP Gallery from the HP Director. This section contains the following topics: • use the e-mail button on page 135 • use the hp instant share photo menu option on page 135 • use a scanned image on page 136 • access the e-mail option from the hp director on page 136 use the e-mail button The E-mail button on your HP PSC lets you easily send a selected photo to anyone with an e-mail account. For more information see use a photo memory card on page 21. 1 Navigate to a photo you want to send and press OK to select it. 2 Press E-mail. Your HP PSC transfers the selected photo to the e-mail program on your Macintosh. You can then send it as an e-mail attachment by following the prompts on your Macintosh. For more information, see the hp imaging gallery section in the onscreen hp photo and imaging help. Note: Make sure the photo you select appears on the color graphics display. The photo that appears on the display is sent to the HP Gallery, even if it is different from the one that you selected. use the hp instant share photo menu option You can share photos with family and friends by sending a selected photo to anyone with an e-mail account. 1 Select an image from your photo memory card. For more information, see use a photo memory card on page 21 2 From the front panel, press Photo, and then press 9. The photo appears in the HP Gallery on your computer.
