● Using your Web browser to access the embedded Web server on the HP Jetdirect wireless print server. For more information, refer to the HP Jetdirect Administrator's Guide for this print server model, supplied on the HP Jetdirect CD-ROM. When using the embedded Web server, the wireless settings and TCP/IP settings are performed on different Web pages. Note the following: ■ If you configure a static IP address before changing the wireless network settings on the print server, you will be disconnected. You must open a new connection using the new IP address. ■ If you change the wireless network settings on the print server before assigning an IP address, your connection will be closed. With the print server now configured with a connection to your network, you must restore your wireless computer's settings to open a new embedded Web server connection. ■ If you want the print server to use BootP or DHCP for an IP address, you should configure your wireless network settings first. The factory-default state of the print server is to obtain its IP configuration using BootP or DHCP. ● Using the printer's control panel for selected printers. For more information, see Appendix C.
