5. Log in to the Web Management Interface and look at the appropriate Status pages. HP D2D4100/4300 Series: Select Storage-Shelves. The status of the failed disk should now be OK. The D2D is fully functional during this time, however may have reduced performance until the process completes and initialization progress is 100%. NOTE: This can take a very long time to complete, even when the appliance is idle. Email alerts and Log If you have configured recipients for email alerts on the Web Management Interface, they will be notified that physical disk(s) added, RAID is being rebuilt and when the rebuild has completed.
