It is possible for the printer's IP address to change if the printer gets its address via DHCP and its power gets switched off -- when the power comes back on and the printer requests an address from the DHCP server, the server may give it a different address from the one it had before. If the printer's IP address has changed, then a computer that tries to print to the old address will not be successful. Check the address of the target printer in the printer control panel of the computer. Has the printer's IP address changed?
It is possible for the printer's IP address to change if the printer gets its address via
DHCP and its power gets switched off -- when the power comes back on and the
printer requests an address from the DHCP server, the server may give it a
different address from the one it had before.
If the printer's IP address has changed, then a computer that tries to print to the
old address will not be successful.
