WEP (wired equivalency privacy) is an IEEE 802.11 encryption scheme that provides basic access control and data privacy on your wireless network. Under WEP, you supply encryption keys that are used to encrypt the data stream. In addition, some of the authentication protocols, such as LEAP and EAPTLS, can manage encryption keys for the network administrator. Wireless print server security: As you set up your wireless print server, the wireless setup wizard will make it easy to match the print server's security settings to those of your network.
