CAUTION 3 Troubleshooting Your HP Kayak PC Workstation If You Cannot Turn Off Your PC Workstation If You Cannot Turn Off Your PC Workstation Use this section if you cannot turn off your PC Workstation, the power indication light is either orange or red, and you hear a "buzzing" sound. • Check if your PC Workstation is locked, whereby "power-off" is not allowed. In this mode, the power indicator light is red. You will need to enter a password to unlock the PC Workstation (refer to your PC User's Guide for more information). • Check if you are in a suspend/standby mode. In this mode, the power indicator light is orange. "Power-off" in this case would risk a loss of information/data (refer to the Power Menu in the HP Setup program). If you press the On/Off button for four seconds, the system will be automatically turned off. Note that this does not shut down the operating system properly. 62 English
