Clean the line sensor Wipe both line sensors and the spectrophotometer with one of the cotton swabs provided in the Printer Cleaning Kit, slightly dampened with isopropyl alcohol. Finish off cleaning the carriage bottom The following steps provide the complete procedure for this topic. 1. Ensure that the cleaned parts are completely dry and that all vapor has completely evaporated. 2. Close and lock the printhead cleaning roll door. 3. Ensure that all windows, covers, and doors are closed and remain in their original positions. 4. Turn on the printer in the correct way for maintenance operations: see Turn the printer on on page 215. 5. Move the carriage beam back to its working position. 6. Move the carriage back to its working position. Replace protector and textile substrate edge holders After using 500 litres with the ink collector, you need to replace the protector and edge holders if they are damaged. Clean the aerosol nozzle plate and filters The aerosol nozzle plate and fliters should be kept clean for optimal performance and reliability.
