TIP: If you are a regular user of different substrate types, you can change rolls more quickly if you preload rolls of different substrate types on different spindles. Extra spindles are available for purchase. Load a roll into the printer The objective when loading substrate is to get a uniform tension across its width and length to minimize the risk of skew, wrinkles, and telescoping.
