Obtaining debugging information from HP ToolboxFX Although it is very unlikely, HP ToolboxFX can encounter fatal errors that cause it to crash. If this occurs, the following dialog box appears: Figure 2-35 HP ToolboxFX - sample error dialog You likely did nothing to cause this error, and nothing can be done to recover from the internal issues that caused the error. The only recourse is to turn the computer off and then on again, or to restart HP ToolboxFX from the Program Group. The error log contains information that might be helpful for CPE and R&D engineers to assist in diagnosing the problem. All fatal errors, and some other events, are logged to an error log file. When reporting problems to CPE or R&D, please include this error log. Often, no other debugging information is needed for fatal errors.
