Power How to Calibrate To calibrate a battery pack, you must fully charge, fully discharge, and then fully recharge the battery pack. Charging the Battery Pack Charge the battery pack while the notebook is on. To charge the battery pack: Å WARNING: Do not charge the notebook battery pack onboard aircraft. Charging the battery pack may damage aircraft electronic systems. 1. Insert the battery pack into the notebook. 2. Connect the notebook to external power through the AC adapter or an optional combination power adapter. (The notebook battery light is on as the battery pack charges.) 3. Leave the notebook connected to external power until the battery pack is fully charged. (The notebook battery light is turned off.) Discharging the Battery Pack Ä CAUTION: To prevent loss of work, save your work before beginning an unattended discharge procedure. The notebook must remain on throughout the discharge process. How to Calibrate
To calibrate a battery pack, you must fully charge, fully
discharge, and then fully recharge the battery pack.
Charging the Battery Pack
Charge the battery pack while the notebook is on. To charge the
battery pack:

aircraft. Charging the battery pack may damage aircraft electronic
systems.
1. Insert the battery pack into the notebook.
2. Connect the notebook to external power through the
AC adapter or an optional combination power adapter. (The
notebook battery light is on as the battery pack charges.)
