White balance In some cases, it may be necessary to pre-set the light source so the camera can reproduce colors more accurately. Set the White Balance ( ) according to the following situations. Icon Description Auto Auto - this is the default setting Daylight - recording outdoors on a bright day Cloudy - recording under overcast or twilight skies Tungsten - recording under incandescent lighting Fluorescent 1- recording under cool or daylight fluorescent lighting Fluorescent 2 - recording under warm fluorescent lighting ISO This setting ( ) adjusts how quickly the camera reacts to light. Higher ISO numbers allow higher shutter speeds. Switch to higher speeds while taking pictures in dark areas or fast moving objects.
