Prepare the computer for disassembly. 2. Remove the palmrest cover with touch pad 3. Remove the keyboard. 4. Remove the heatspreader. 5. Remove the status panel. 6. Remove the interface board. 7. Disconnect the ZIF connector and backlight power cable from the interface board. 8. Grasp the hinge covers and push out to release the covers from the hinges of the display panel assembly as shown.
