Prepare the computer for disassembly. 2. Remove the palmrest cover with touch pad. Remove the keyboard. 4. Remove the heatspreader 5. Remove the display assembly. 6. Remove the plastic subpanel assembly 7. Pull the fan backwards from the chassis slot, disconnect the fan cable from the system board, and remove the gasket. Replace the fan gasket. 8. from the System Board
1.
Prepare
the
computer for
disassembly.
2.
Remove
the palmrest
cover with
touch pad.
3.
Remove
the
keyboard.
4.
Remove
the
heatspreader
5.
Remove
the display
assembly.
6.
Remove
the plastic
subpanel
assembly
7. Pull the
fan
backwards
from the
chassis slot,
disconnect
the fan cable
from the
system
board, and
remove the
gasket.
Replace the
fan gasket.
8. Place the
fan at a 15
degree angle
and push
forward to
replace the
fan.
